LGES EV battery lead outside China at risk

South Korea's LG Energy Solution (LGES) is betting the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will help it to catch up with China’s Catl, the world’s biggest maker of EV batteries.

Instead, it is getting dangerously close to losing its lead outside China as Catl and domestic rival BYD make in-roads in international markets.
