Sales of US OEM Ford’s F-150 Lightning have somewhat underwhelmed since the firm began deliveries at the start of 2022. But it is now hoping that price cuts of up to almost $10,000 of the list price and improved vehicle availability will kickstart growth that has stalled after an initial build-up in sales.

However, US EV pureplay Tesla has finally seen the first of its long-delayed Cybertruck electric pick-up finally roll off the production line. And competition in the space is only going to get hotter with more models on the way.
