Swedish multinational ABB has unveiled a charging solution aimed at managers of truck and bus fleets, as it looks to tap into pent-up demand for electrification of larger vehicles.

Each of ABB's HVC360 power cabinets will be able to supply up to four charging stations as far as 100m from the hub. And different levels of power can be allocated to each charging station, based on both the number of vehicles that are connected and their charging needs. The HVC360 supports a range of charging standards, including CCS and pantograph — a method of charging electric buses in depots or at specific charging stations via a gantry or mast.
