Kia’s V2G ambitions hobbled by EV infrastructure lag

Hyundai-owned Kia has announced that its new EV9, which is scheduled to hit the market this year, will have vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capabilities. The firm’s newest EV will come with Kia’s smart charging technology, allowing for simple unidirectional charging, vehicle-to-home/building (V2H/B) including connecting to a domestic battery, and V2G external power supply.
