Chinese battery maker Catl has signed a cell-to-pack (CTP) cooperation agreement with Thailand's Arun Plus. The joint venture aims to supply Thai EV manufacturers and boost the potential for the country to become an Asean region hub for battery production hub.
Catl will supply the CTP production line to Arun Plus, and will also share CTP battery pack manufacturing knowledge and technologies with its Thai partner.
