Indian OEM Tata is looking to build on its success in the domestic EV market after India’s bestselling model, the Tata Nexon EV, achieved the 50,000-sale landmark three years after its initial launch.
Tata is the dominant OEM offering EV solutions to Indian markets. According to data from Indian EV advocacy group PluginIndia, Tata accounted for over 77pc of Indian EV sales in April, having sold nearly 23,000 units since the start of the year.
